Overall OK museum. Compared to other museums it is not great, but we got surprised, as we did not expect much. It is quite spacious and also has a few wonderful activities for kids; Make your own boats in a wood workshop by homemade wood kits and also radio-controlled boats. Some parts of the exhibitions are updated and good and some are older and not very good. Some very good old boats.

Loved the various displays and information. In particular, the introductory movie, the artwork and the war piece. All very well done.

Interesting museum and good movie in auditorium. Norway great country, nice people but unfortunately no critical discussion about bloody whale hunting!!! We human beings have to show more respect for nature and it's living creatures

I enjoyed the film, which displayed different parts of Norway past and present. I think more could be done with the majority of exhibits. A library seems to take up a lot of space but that is out of place in a museum. Some of the interactive displays were not working, including the VR headset.

Interesting insight into Norway's rich maritime history and the craft of ship building. Their 5 screen presentation of the coastal life was awfully aged though, both the editing (esp. music) and the technical setup.
