Menu with wide variety of foods: soups, appetisers, different meat and fish foods, desserts etc. Have been there many times and have never left disappointed.

Quirky place as it comes to the decor. The food is good Latvian fare in very large portions at reasonable prices. Good turkey kebab, loved the coquettes (they were meatballs btw, not croquettes) and friendly servers. Nice collection of beer on tap.

Very greasy / fatty food, but well prepared and tasty. Nice, medieval atmosphere to it, and they are not trying to overcharge tourists like some other places (got the Latvian menu first, prices are the same as in the English menu, no service charges etc.). Friendly staff.

We've spent €30 for two of us, an for that amount of money we were rolling out of there - the amounts of food are great. :) The taste is also quite good. The meat was cooked in front of us. :)
