The Canadian Northern Railway (CNoR) ran along here from 1912 to 1918. It was Canada's second trans-continental railway. It expanded too fast, the market declined during WW I. This line ran from Montreal, to Ottawa, Smith Falls, Sydenham, Napanee, Belleville, Port Hope and Toronto. Looking east.
