Original mile stone on highway #2. One side has K X11 meaning 12 miles to Kingston. The other side has N XI meaning 11 miles to Napanee. Dated to 1837. Canada's first macadamized (paved) toll road. Horse drawn wagons did not have odometers.

Former United Church of Canada built in 1873 now being uses as Women's Institute building and rental space. It is almost identical to the Free Methodist Church in Harrowsmith, 10 km. north east of here.
