But so thin walls that I could hear all the next door people's talking and snoring sounds
couldn't sleep well
breakfast is great
not many kinds but all taste good
oh hot water didnt work from my first night

rising Drgon place was mazing hotel very nice saff and good hotel,food was good ,and room very clean ,could recommand for all every one come to vietnam stay in this hotel

My girl friend liked the modern French decor here, and we both liked the breakfast buffet even more. The staff here are very courteous and professional. As other reviewers mentioned, the neighbourhood is interesting and fun. You can wander around at and enjoy a refreshing draft beer, variety of restaurants, shops. I purchased a propaganda poster and nice bottle of snake versus scorpion wine.

This hotel is not conveniently located near the fascinating old city centre of Hanoi. A 20 minutes walk to the Hoan Kiem Lake and will take you about 30 minutes to central of Old Quarter. The staff is very friendly but their English is in general limited and some like cheating guests by selling tour overpriced or changing money with low currency.
We noticed that nearly all reviewers praise the clean, fine rooms. Unfortunately our experience was different. Notice that only a limited number of rooms have a window opening to the street; many rooms only have a small window giving access to a space behind the interior (!) stairs. In total we spent 3 nights in the hotel in two different rooms. One of the rooms (301) was far from perfect, with dirt, including an ear swab of one of the previous guests, on the floor behind the bed, two twilight lamps (one without a plug altogether!) that did not work, a tap in the bathroom that was only loosely attached to the sink and one of the doors of the closet that was broken and could not be opened. The second room was much better but also there one of the twilight lamps was defect. This room was also equipped with a safe, however this also did not function…….
The breakfast area is small, with only 6 or 7 small tables, so occasionally you may have difficulty finding a place. Breakfast is modest but acceptable.
When we would return to Hanoi we will not choose this hotel
