Location isn't ideal but is tolerable. Security isn't the best but lock boxes are avaliable just separate from your room. 6 of us were cramped in a loft with 14 people below us so we basically has a 20 person room. However all of this is worth it to stay here. Need to go here.

Warm, friendly staff. Warmest welcome I've ever had. Kept us fed very well. Cheap drinks and good food. About a 10 min taxi ride from downtown. A big plus for us was the pool table and the private "club room"

As name says theyvtreat you like a part of a family. Got offered hot food and a tea for free apon arrival before even taking off my backpack. Thank you Mama

Mama and his family has so much to give to her guests that every minute spend there is amazing. Good for people who like to have a drink or more. Hostel might be quite crowded in the main building but there are many others building if you want peace after a certain hour.

They are very welcoming and friendly, but that's about it. There are over a dozen beds to a dorm, about 5cm apart with no privacy curtains so you basically sleep on top of each other. There are no lockers for your bags. There are only 4 showers and toilets for the whole hostel. The doors don't lock so there is 0 security. The check-in clerk was committed to keeping my passport, and laughed in my face when I offered him a photocopy instead which my 2 previous hostels gladly excepted(both saying they preferred it!). There doesn't appear to be heating in the rooms so I am expecting a cold night. I will be checking out tomorrow 3 days early and finding somewhere better.
