Excelente servicio. Los muchachos que te muestran los autos 10 puntos. Alquilé una camioneta.. muy bien de motor cero problema. Fui hasta salto todo impecable. Muy recomendable precio económico y bajo depósito que puede ser con tarjeta. Otra cosa a favor es que tienen sillas para niños de todos los tamaños.

The guys at the rental place were nice, joking around with my little daughter and being patient with my weak Spanish. However, there were a number of bad surprises with the car rental itself:
- The car was in an absymal state. It had a loud engine and creaky springs, and the shocks were old or non-existent. It felt wobbly and unsafe at highway cruising speeds, particularly with the strong winds in Montevideo.
- The blue copy of the contract is apparently needed when returning the car. They forgot to tell me this, so I have to go back tomorrow. There was no bending their processes, even though they had their own copy of the contract at hand.
- I was charged 300 pesos for not having washed the car before returning it. Maybe this is how it works in Uruguay, maybe even restaurant guests have to wash their forks before returning them, but they could spare foreign visitors a bad surprise if they told them in advance.
