We arrived early and were greeted by what was supposed to be the General Manager. He was rude and had a nasty attitude. First thing he said when we arrived was, "you know we are not open" in a nasty tone." We sat by the bar to wait 10min. At about 5:10 I had to walk up to the host stand to advise I was their to eat because the manager did not advise her. We were seated at the table at received out salads and soup. We found a bug in the soup. At this point we paid and left. By the way when you first walk in the restaurants has a strange smell. We should have walked out from the very beginning.

A true staple in Alpine. I believe it's the only restaurant in this tiny hidden town. The food is good, ambience is great. Nice spot to take kids to too, the chefs put on a show that keeps them entertained for a while.
There are shared tables here if you don't have a large group, which is typical of habachi restaurants

Fun for the kids. Food is good but CRAZY salty. Always come out smelling like the place, even if you're just having sushi.
