Beware if you are ever in Lawrence Hospital's ER. They have set up 3 different systems for payment, all requiring their own separate bills. One for "facilities," one for radiology, and one for the doctors. My insurance company repeatedly requested the bills and Lawrence blatantly ignored them and sent my account to a collection agency. Now I am getting harassed daily by Trans Continental Collection Agency. What kind of scam are they running? Appalled by how they treat accident victims.

I thought maybe the hospital was improving since being combined w a top hospital, but I was mistaken. My three grandchildren were born there, 23,21 & 19 years ago when the hospital was great. Now my 93 yr old mom is there & NO ONE answers nurses station calls, ON A REGULAR BASIS!! No Dr call or anyone to let me know what is going on since I visited 2 days ago. I just went thru Stage 3 Breast cancer & cant get there everyday They should improve communications w family, especially a 93 year old & children that don’t understand what’s going on. PS I have left messages. Very disappointed!!

At first the ratings baffled me! But I have always said; things should be tried first for your own experience and decisions. My wife gave birth here on Oct 4th; and quite frankly this place has only made this experience so smooth all over again after 10 yrs!! Everyone and everything about this place is amazing!!!

I had 2 minor surgerys done here, best experience of my life. The entire staff was gentle, attentive and professionals. They all made me feel comfortable during my procedures. Highly recommended, thanks to Dr. Silva and Dr. Azu.

So surprised at all the negative reviews. I feel like we are talking about 2 totally different hospitals. My father was seen immediately in the ER and from there the care even got better. The transporters were friendly and caring. The staff though busy, kept me informed and made me comfortable as well as him. They had him in a room quickly. The staff on the floors from the CNAs to the house doctors and pastoral staff were caring and professional as well as supportive. When it came time for hospice Dad had a private room and nothing but caring people and peaceful surroundings to ease his way out of our world. I could not be more grateful and impressed. I was there every day but one for 3 weeks and I never had a rude encounter or felt his needs were being neglected in any way. When all was said and done I still received phone calls from several staff checking on me. I have told many people including my family, if I ever have to be hospitalized I want to be there.
