Love the building and the design inside. It is very traditional in style to what you might expect in traditional Mexico. This helped a lot with the rating. The prices are pretty good and not stereotypical $10 plus everything like everyone else seems to be. The food was pretty good as well. Although the Tamale seemed to be pretty tough. I would normally attribute this to being pre-made food, but this consistency was of home made recipe in nature. It is possible the meat was just tough or the breading was just tougher than normal. I will go here occasionally as it was overall pretty good. The salsa had this really red rosy shine to it. Never seen this before and was really good compared to any other salsas I have eaten or made.

When we arrived we waited to be seated like usual. The host was on the phone, another family walked in. When the host was finished with the call he left without acknowledging us. Another family walked and now we are all still waiting. A waiter walked by with a tray of drinks and I asked is there anyone who can help us? He rudely replied " No you have to wait!" a group of military men came in and are now also waiting. The host finally comes back but he does not acknowledge any of us! We can't believe what it happening. I'm sure the host now knows we are unhappy, he grabs a handful of menus and slams them down, then he looks at me and asks how many? I look at him and I said "forget it we're going somewhere else" we left.and the military men left too. Poor Poor customer service! That's too bad because we were looking forward to having a good lunch. Customer service was poor.
