I recently had to take cat Mushu in for a infected cat bite he endured during a fight with a stray. Naturally i was very anxious an worried about his well being and the cost. The staff knew this and upon my arrival had already had different options for what we could possibly be dealing with accompanied by prices for each. Not only was the process smooth and in a timely manner but seemed painless for my Mushu i even noticed several techniques that only experienced an trained staff would use. After my brief visit i know ill b reuseing Banfield on Market/New Centre. And thank you Britney and team hes lookin better already

This was my first time there. The staff was able to fit me in for a same day appointment. They were friendly and considerate. The Dr. took the time to answer all my questions and didnt rush me out the door or push me to buy what I didn't want. She was informative and genuinely concerned about the wellbeing of my puppy. I will definitely be back!

I have had several horrible experiences at this Banfield location, and today was the tipping point. Every time I have come in (I have 3 pets, so I have been in frequently), I have never been seen within 30 minutes of my appointment time, and I have certainly never left within an hour... many times spending 2-3 hours (mostly waiting) for either a comprehensive check-up or something very simple, then to be rushed out of the door. I once had a vet tell me that she was "not a cat person" during a comprehensive checkup for my CAT. I have had invoices printed off from pets that were not mine, and have had mixups with them calling to remind me of procedures that were not scheduled for my pets. Today, I had an appointment at 1:45, and I called at 1:50 to say that I was running a few minutes late due to awful traffic and would be there in 5 minutes, to which they replied, "We are sorry, we can't see your pet because our staff takes lunch at 2, and we follow a very strict schedule." I guess they only follow a strict schedule for their lunch break because they have NEVER been on schedule, not once, for my pets' appointments. While other, smaller vets may be more expensive, because they are not hustling the "wellness plans" that Banfield does, it is totally worth every penny extra to have compassion and great quality of care! (By the way this is my first online review because I feel so strongly about this)!

Went in to use a coupon for a free visit and was given a total bait and switch. I've had a handful of friends warn me to not go to this vet and now I know why. Never again.

I've been 3 times, and always get the distinct impression they're more interested in running up my bill than providing quality care. If you don't have the long-term plan they constantly try to sell you, everything is a la carte - $20 to swab this, $40 to check that, etc. They even charge a "hazardous waste disposal" fee for the pet's stool sample. If you don't ask a lot of questions you're going to pay for a lot of pointless stuff. Last straw for me was a $250 bill for various procedures to "confirm" and treat a very obvious ear infection, followed by a refusal to prescribe more eardrops unless I came in and repeated the process all over again. Definitely won't be going back.
