Love love love loved it here!! My husband took me on date night while we were visiting Wilmington from Greensboro! The atmosphere was lovely and romantic. The food was DELICIOUS! And our waitress wAs so kind and so helpful as this was our first time dining here. We will be back!

CIRCA always gets a five star from my family and myself. With that said, Thurs Nov 2nd, about 8 pm a friend and myself decided to go to Circa, our favorite. We were very surprised when our waiter basically tossed the menus at us with a nasty attitude. I was concerned and asked if he was OK. With a growl he quickly said "don't cross that line" and walked away!! We debated about leaving and going to another restaurant , many good ones in downtown Wilmington. Starving we decided to tough it out with our waiter!! Everyone has a bad day, but truly this was the worst I've ever experienced in waitstaff.
Our meal was delicious (we knew it would be), thus the reason for 3 stars and not one!!

Not a great experience. After waiting an hour to be seated, which I understand it was Saturday night, we waited over an hour... exactly one hour and twenty minutes to get our food. You would expect it to be delicious and worth the wait, but apparently they had an accident with my dish and it was not at all what it should have been. I can cook a better Paella at home with more flavor and without the broken clam shells. The waiter, who lacked a personality, noted the manager was preparing it...after the accident. After eating some of it, I am assuming he cleaned up what he could and threw some tomato sauce in it and sent it out. Terrible experience as our last night in Wilmington for our convention. We we're expecting a nice meal,and but no. I will admit I have been there before and had a great experience, but have always been drinking.... curious if the alcohol had created the illusion of wonderful food in the past and I finally tasted reality Saturday night.

Outstanding service and amazing food. Bourbon drinkers they have spherical ice. Veal brisket possibly the most tender pieces of meat I have ever enjoyed. Would definitely return.

This is a place not to be missed if your in downtown Wilmington!!! As this was our first time here, we walked past a couple the made a statement, "trust me you'll be back"...and I strongly agree. The food is off the charts, drinks were delicious and service was impeccable! Hailey (not sure how she spells it) was friendly, informative and fun. We will DEFINITELY be back 👌🏼
