My son and I were in need of some in-depth medical clearances. I spoke with Betty, who was an absolute pleasure, and she fit both of us in the following morning. Everything after that continued to exceed my expectations. The front desk, Katrina (the lab/xray nurse) and the doctor were all wonderful. They were knowledgeable, helpful and I felt like they were going above and beyond to be sure we had everything we needed. I had never been here before, but I will be back. It has been such a long time since I have had such great service, beginning to end, at a doctor's office. Thank you Shipyard Medical Team!!!!

Would not recommend, very unprofessional I was not feeling good and had a high fever I went as a walk in customer and asked how long it would take to see the physician and the person at the reception told me it should not take long 20 minutes at the most so I sat down and waited. After 45 minutes I still had not been called so I asked how much longer I would be and I was told not much longer that they were finishing up with a patient. After another half hour of waiting I finally got up and left. I understand I was a walk in but it should not have taken that long.

I'm currently an ongoing patient to this practice and honestly I wouldn't have it any other way. Dr. Donovin actually takes the time to listen and address any concerns at each visit. It's very obvious that he's well experienced and is caring. He definitely know his stuff. It's a perfect ongoing relationship and I'm confident I'm going to see the same Dr. Every single time. I would recommend this practice 100% very Satisfied.

But, after posting my review explaining my experience, Dr. Donovin called me personally, apologizing for any unsatisfactory service and asked for me to elaborate. He is absolutely wonderful and, hands-down, the best doctor I've ever seen. I've never had a doctor who listened as well as him or expressed even an iota of the empathy that he has for his patients. I've tried other doctors in Wilmington, and they don't compare. When going back, the front staff were very nice - the entire staff was! - so my initial issue is no longer even a problem.

The lady at the front desk was incredibly wonderful and so helpful. She absolutely made my entire day, just over the phone. Highly recommend.
