On Thursday evening 11/16/17 around 5:30 pm, I took my husband Dennis to FastMed in Leland, NC. He had been experiencing what he thought was severe acid reflux for three days. After a thorough exam by Dr. Delabastide and several EKG's we were told he needed to go straight to the ER at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. When he arrived at the ER, Dr. Delabastide had already called and they were waiting for us. By 10 pm the same night, my husband had been through a cardiac catherization and had a stent placed in his right coronary artery which was 95% blocked. We truly believe that Dr. Delabastide, his staff and the prompt accurate diagnosis made at FastMed probably saved his life. We are so fortunate to have this degree of competence, efficiency and kindness in our neighborhood. Thank you everyone at FastMed. Mrs. Dennis Miller 1116 Avebury Court, Winnabow, NC 28479. There is nothing fast about this place!! The wait time is horrible and the staff is unprofessional. I even checked in online and had to wait an hr and a half after my check in time. What is the point of having a check in online feature??? This place used to be when it first opened now it is a total joke! Spend your time somewhere else!!

Staff and Dr were excellent but the billing is VERY shady! They require a credit card up front to be "put on file" then charge whatever they please before you receive a bill. Happended to both my husband and myself on 2 separate occasions. On my card they couldn't charge the full amount so they sent me a bill. I paid it immediately upon receipt then received a notice from a collections company a month later saying I owed them the full amount! I'm telling everyone I know to stay away from them and seek other urgent care facilities!

Great place, check in smooth, quick, courteous. Wait time was good, it was a busy morning. PA was awesome, informative, very concerned with my well being. Overall a great visit as visits to the doctor go. Glad we have FastMed in our community!

The wait was a little long. There were three staff members all putting info into one computer, I don't think they all needed to be doing that-could've been doing something else. Otherwise once I was being treated it was great. Place was clean and great overall.
