Stopped in Wichita just to track down this classic, which I haven't had in many years. The loose-meat burger was delicious. Nicely seasoned, but not overdone. The bun was nice too. Root beer was great. Definitely going to make the effort to get in when I'm in the area.

Always on the docket when in the area - but only this location. It's not NuWay if it's not the original shop! Crumbly burgers, curly fries, onion rings, and the ultimate root beer floats in freezer-chilled glass mugs!

I love this local restaurant. We took ours to-go and I wasn't as impressed as in the past. The regular NuWay is the way to go!

I grew up in Wichita and just have to laugh when I see remarks on this site about it being built "silly", or that the burgers "don't even stay together". YES! That's the Nuway I remember! It is 87 years old, has so much history, and is still yummy as ever! Every time I'm home to visit, I absolutely make a stop at Nuway! Love them!
