We had the last two end cuts of the nights Prime Rib roast, nicely done with a spice and garlic rub that made for a nice meal.
The restaurant tracks and posts the number of steaks served, including past owners. They know how to do steaks right.
I found the booths straight back wooden bench a little uncomfortable, I may have preferred one of the table and a chair.
The WiFi worked pretty well while we were their.

A group of us celebrated the 50th wedding anniversary of my brother and his wife at this wonderful restaurant. We were camping in the area and decided to have our celebratory meal here. We didn't have any appetizers and went right to the soup and salad. Four of us had a very appetizing salads and the other two had the vegetable beef soup. The salads were yummy and the soup outstanding. The broth in the soup had a little extra spice kick to it with big chunks of beef.
For the main entrees one had the steak burger, one had fettuccine primavera, two of us had the 8 oz. top sirloin steak, and one had the ribeye steak. Those of us that had steak found it broiled so well to perfection. It was melt in your mouth tender and juicy, so easy to cut. My wife enjoyed the fettuccine primavera, and my cousin thoroughly enjoyed his steak burger. I had the garlic parmesan fries with my steak and they were delicious.
If you are looking for an inexpensive meal, this is not the place for you. If, however, you are looking for a very tasteful meal in a great atmosphere with great service by some of the best people around, this is the place. The staff was very nice and know their menu. I don't think our server lost her smile all night long. For our special family celebration this was a great choice.
One last thing. We didn't partake in the desserts, but were told their homemade pies are from scratch. Maybe next time.

Out of towm....excellent steak & service....but web site does NOT represent the BEST this resturant has to offer...i.e. available tables vs reservations & menu is slightly different from w/the web advertises...walked in w/out res. & menu availailty was awesome. Worth the visit!

Ordered the steak tips which they claimed to be "Filet" but tasted and looked more like sirloin. Small portion and were near well when I ordered medium rare. I would not come back for their steak. Vegetables and clam chowder were good which is why it's not a 1 star. Waitress was nice and very friendly at pickup.
