I feel a little insecure giving this place a 4-star rating when the rest of Google gives it a three, but alas. Here we are.
Sala Thai is a small DC Thai food chain. This location is located east of the river near the Deanwood Metro. It's in the bottom of a new condition building on a main strip.
When you walk in, you'll be greeted by its friendly staff and directed to a table of the bar. It's clean and we'll kept.
They offer a great happy hour list of both drinks and food. Their regular menu is big! I ordered that green curry with chicken and it's enough to fill one person. The curry was tasty and the perfect amount of spice. To end, I ordered the sticky rice and mango. It was a good dessert but did have too many coconut crisps on top.
Overall, a good experience and fun to explore Deanwood afterwards too!

Food was decent. Had a large party and I don't think the kitchen was adequately staffed even though we let them know we were coming a week in advance
