Delicious food and nice environment. I went after walking around the park a Sunday night. Service was great and the place was quiet. I loved their Philly steak sandwich.

If you're coming for bottomless champagne, keep in mind that it's $16 + your entree. There are better deals in DC. That said, I did enjoy the relaxed vibe here for weekend brunch, and the food was fantastic. Not the best service.

In a busy neighborhood with an endless selection of bars/restaurants at every price range and level of traditional/new, this place is just old and sad. It smells like the windows haven't been opened in decades, if ever. The staff are just going through the paces, and badly. It''s dark but not in a cozy way. The draft beer selection is inexplicably weak. You might or might not get a good steak here, but don't bother with the bar. Plenty of better options within 3 blocks.

I've been here three or four times over three years, and I was very happy until this last visit. My group did not see a server for five minutes after being seated. Before ordering, a couple people in my group asked to sample the jambalaya to see how spicy it was. I can understand if the server can't do that, but he became rather rude about it. He seemed to rush my group whenever we talked to him, even though the place was not busy, and he didn't seem in a hurry when not at our table. I've always liked this place for being good, affordable food in Georgetown near the water... But I'll never risk taking a group there again.
