They just take a long time to make the food but the food was great I'll go back only if I don't have to work because I don't wanna be late waiting for my food

Had the pleasure of having some lemon pepper wings and the crab cake...my goodness! My stomach thanks you!! I will definitely be back to try the chicken salad!

I had Luke's chicken sandwich and it tasted like NW Indiana version of Mambo Sauce. Delicious!!!! I just know some Midwestern girl with a work ethic much like my own whispered in his ear the RIGHT ingredients. We also ordered a chicken salad sandwich and a cold cut that makes MLK deli a new fav on my black owned dining list. Support support support!
I had Luke's chicken sandwich and it tasted like NW Indiana version of Mambo Sauce. Delicious!!!! I just know some Midwestern girl with a work ethic much like my own whispered in his ear the RIGHT ingredients. We also ordered a chicken salad sandwich and a cold cut that makes MLK deli a new fav on my black owned dining list. Support support support!

After being excited that MLK Deli reopened, I couldn't wait to order their chicken salad sandwich. After placing a order for pickup, I couldn't leave work fast enough as my stomach was anticipating my meal. The reason for the one star is as follows. After searching for parking, walking 2 blocks and standing in line for about 10 min. I reached the register only to be told that my order wasn't complete due to them not having any chicken salad. The guy told me "I told them to call you back" and looked at me like "oh well". Needless to say due to the inconvenience, I don't plan on visiting them again, smh.

Here's the deal, good half pound crab cakes; the regular size is not enough to be full from. The rest of the food is just ok nothing special. They had a grand opening which sends a sign that something will actually now be open to business however, they have yet to open at there listed time. I never know when I can go back because it's so unorganized. It seems they could have delayed opening at all until they knew they could fulfill what they advertise. Also no working website, no menu posted, no one answers there phone. please get it together, we want our people to succeed.
