Great view. Good drinks. Horrible policy. It's a Sunday, 92 degrees boiling, 430 pm. POV is almost empty. Bar stools are boiling and the seats, I mean the stands in the shade are all reserved for appetizers. That's ridiculous what if we wanna just drink. What's the need to promise to eat. Do disappointing and so not-DC.

The service was okay, but honestly, we were here for the view. At least that didn't disappoint! Wouldn't recommend other than to grab a drink, enjoy the fresh air, and take in the sights. Not sure there's a better view of the White House anywhere else in the city!

Great spot for an evening cocktail. Very friendly staff and the views are amazing. Prices are a little crazy but they definitely pour a mean Kentucky Mule

If you're a tourist - like we were - this is a great place during the day! They have an awesome view of the White House and most of the monuments. The vibe is also really great and the waiter we had was awesome!
I would not suggest coming at night because the bartenders can charge whatever they want for drinks, and people still keep coming back. We ordered two vodka sodas at 9 pm and it was $31, and then another 2 at 10 PM and it was $34. It's also SUPER crowded and you can't really see the views around the bottle service groups...

Best view of the city and northern VA. Amazing craft cocktails and small, but diverse menu featuring upscale bar fare from scratch. Insider tip: come on evenings and weekends to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, etc and get bottle service (table top self serve spirit, champagne and wine service) with friends. Bottle prices are some of the cheapest in the city without having to be in a dark, stuffy club environment (but there is also an inside lounge if you like that sort of thing!)
