Friendly staff, well stocked minibar, ok water pressure. Loved the baroque (mid-century?) look of the hotel. I liked the furniture. It's a sort of a romantic hotel and I imagine it was once very splendid.Now if you look really close the carpet has a stain here and the sheets are a bit threadbare, the thermostat was held together with duct tape.At 2am the hotel turns into a buzz of drunken guests with their heels in their hands, groups smoking outside taking selfies. It is lively and the hotel is reminiscent of something old from another time passing through the 21st century. The bed was also a bit lumpy. I would have a boudoir photo shoot here but I probably wouldn't stay here again just because i like soft sheets and fluffy towels.

Our lunch was wonderful. The best beef I have had sinve my visit to Uruguay. The service was excellent and the atmosphere welcoming.

Warm friendly hotel. Traveling solo it was nice to have a great menu served at the bar. The rooms are on the small side but very comfortable. Beware however, there is no in room coffee, you have to go to the lobby. A little shocking the first morning at 5:30.

Convenient location. Special offer in this (low) season when booking with the hotel directly. Part of the hotel was under renovation, and some electrical sockets in the room were really worn. So I rated it 4 star.

Nice hotel but don't expect to find a pool here. While there, we were hit with temperatures in the 90s and wanted to cool down after museum visits but unfortunately they do not have a swimming pool. This hotel does not have an in room coffee maker or microwave. The offered free coffee from 5:30-7:30am. We were on vacation and didn't even try to wake up around that time. Housekeeping sometimes didn't leave the toiletries; lotion, soap, shampoo, etc. They were good, however, at making our beds and re-fill towels. Also, $14 cheese pizza?
