Overall, a great place. Great location, close to the museums and to many sights. Clean, comfortable, and great service. My only slight quibbles were with the water pressure and the slightly dated feel. An upgrade would move this to five stars.

Attended a birthday party. Staff was very helpful and kind. Hotel seemed as though it had been updated within the last few years. Rooms were nice, well appointed. Although the bathroom in the suite where the party was seemed a little run down.

Hotel Rouge was the main hotel for our wedding guests from out of town— they were awesome. Abbe was very easy to work with and always tried to do extra to help us out. Family and friends enjoyed the hotel— the staff was very friendly. Location is perfect for DC, as it is close to many fun areas.

Overall, the hotel is pretty substandard compared to the prices it charges. There was nothing wrong with my stay per se, but despite being almost $400 a night I felt like I was staying at a much cheaper chain hotel. That being said, the staff and customer service at the hotel was fantastic and there were some nice amenities. At that price though, there are much better options.

Great boutique hotel with many amenities and service. Love the decor and red color them. Highly recommend this hotel. Very close to the metro, convention center and other attractions
