Small, nice, and clean. Been here 4 times so far, all great experiences. Extremely relaxing to the body and mind. I would only recommend bringing your own flip flops as the provided are reused and one size.

I have to echo what another reviewer wrote on many points but let me start with some good ---
1- Easy Check-in
2- First float special $39 for 1hr is a great price
3- Staff is very friendly
4- Easy to find location
5- Same day appointment
Bad ---
1- Only one towel and you have to shower before you get in and again when you get out due to the high salt content in the water (after) and them trying to keep contamination down (before)
2- Shower is SO small I was banging my elbows on the glass and I'm petite
3- Water didn't drain from the shower
4- No where to put my personal belongings - no locker, no table - no chair - only one small stool that barely held my clothes and towel let alone a purse or bag you may bring with shower gear
5- Shower shoes were re-used...always funny about that
6- Shower mat / floor were sopping wet between the two locations
I have very sensitive skin and only floated for about 15 minutes before bailing out bc my legs were on fire - I did like the concept but I doubt I'd be back here. When I think spa I think relaxing and very pleasing to the eye. Nah - it was sparse and dark inside with very little in the way of comfort.

My time inside the tank was very nice. I have floated on a number of occasions in the past 20 years and this was a fine tank.
However, I had several concerns about about the sanitary conditions and the overall safety in the experience.
1. The floor between the shower and the tank was wet and treacherous to navigate. The slippers provided should be disposable, not a pair that is used by all so as not to share and spread foot fungus. I opted not to use them.
2. More than one towel would be helpful since two showers are required: before and after. More than anything I wanted to mop up the water on the floor with a towel but only one pretty thin one was provided. At this point a call the attendant bell would have been nice and I'm sure she would have brought me more.
3. The shower did not drain; I doubted it had been cleaned before I got in it so I was standing in four inches of pretty gunky water.
All in all, I can't say that I'll be back based on my initial experience.

I was in Virginia for a short time and had the opportunity to float at Dream Spa a few times last week. All of my experiences were wonderful even when the filter came on during my Sunday float which cut the float short by 30 minutes. Fortunately, by that time, I was completely and utterly relaxed. Shante and Melody (staff) were extremely nice and ensured all my inquiries were answered. I highly recommend this Spa, especially if you're military because it's an exceptional way to relax from a hard day's/week's work and, you get a discount...Thank you for that Morgan and Leslie! If I'm ever back in Virginia, I will definitely be floating at Dream Spa every chance I get!
