My fiancé and I were at the doubletree to sign the contract for the ballroom for our marriage next year so we decided to eat at Max and Erma’s since it’s right there. There were a bunch of negative reviews online and I wished I would have heeded them. First of all, even though the restaurant was not busy it took forever for us to get our food and it was room temperature/almost cold when we got it. There were things missing from our order as well. I had eaten about half of my chicken tenders when we ask for the manager to complain while my fiancé could did not eat any of hers. I ask the manager to charge me for my meal since I ate some of it so we could leave. The manager did not charge us for any of it which was gracious of her but I still will not be returning and I will listen when a restaurant has many negative reviews for the same issues.

Food was delicious, service by Tyler was timely, courteous and friendly. Chef even baked me a fresh banana cream pie-my favorite! We will be back soon!

Not the same max and ermas you typically encounter. $43 for 3 beers and a burnt steak. Was suppose to get a baked potato but got a pile of paste.
I think you would fair better with the hotel food that it is attached too.

The food was great. Dinner was anywhere between 9 and 18 dollars. The server was also the bartender. Very helpful in every way. Would definitely recommend it

I had to try this place as they are part of the hotel where i stayed at. Food was good nothing extraordinary, $13 for guest who stay at the hotel not $12 as i was told by front desk staff. My server had too many tables and couldn't keep up. Short staffed yet they expect great tips.
