I LOVE LOVE LOVE it here. Everyone's so nice and friendly. Its extremely cozy and the prices are really good!

Listen up, I lived in Japan for a few years, and am married with a lovely Okinawan woman who prepares Japanese meals for me, so trust me when I say that this is the most authentic Japanese restaurant in the area. The Miso soup has authentic bonito umami, the selection of various dishes is as big as an izakaya, and the sushi is the best I could have ever hoped for in the Hampton roads. And the price is very affordable. I'm never getting dragged along to an abominable "sushi king" ever again, not with this hidden gem around. Only problem here is the persistent smell of the fryers, that's really not helping their business: if you guys are listening, figure something out! It's probably keeping the more delicate folks from coming back.

Owners are Korean, so they have a small Korean menu that I enjoy when I want a quick bite to eat. Very comfortable restaurant that has a very relaxed ambience. Can't say much about the sushi since I've never had it here.
