I've been looking for a Mexican restaurant that actually serves great, authentic Mexican food, and I finally found it!
The environment is a relaxed atmosphere even though it was quite busy last night. Clean tables, floor, silverware. Our waiter could not speak much English, yet, he understood what we were asking & ordering.
The food, to me, was AMAZING!

Average white washed Tex mex food. Wasn't anything spectacular coming from Colorado. The waitress did speak Spanish, and they had Mexican coke. But the food and service were both mediocre.

This is one of the oldest Mexican restaurant in the area and we talking 20-25 years ago. The food it's amazing , fresh and cook to perfection. Try steak tacos, is my favorite dish but believe me I did try all the menu .
Their margaritas are WOW... and the chips and red salsa are to die for. Wash it down with a Mexican coke that it made with sugar and no corn syrup. Taste the difference.

My coworkers and I have been going here for years because the food is good and it comes out quick. As much as we loved this place, today was our last time coming here. I've never felt so uncomfortable eating out at a restaurant like I've felt today.
The young waitress who waited on us, usually the cashier, was extremely rude to us for no apparent reason. As I said, we have gone here for years and she used to be friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was not busy at all nor did we give her any problems to begin with. She did not smile, was very short and seemed very aggravated the moment she saw us come in. She did not check up on us when we wanted more chips or drink refills. Her mannerisms were very rude overall. There was one other family in the restaurant and she clearly was a lot nicer to them than she was with us.
A few weeks ago, I had the same vibe, she was rude just not as rude as she was today so I didn't think too much of it. After today, it's clears as day... she just doesn't like us being there. It's disappointing, because we have no idea why she acts like that towards us. We're nice people, we don't cause any problems when we dine in - so it's all just very strange. I rather not eat at a place that treats people like she treated us today.
