Consistently good food with a staff that cares. I have been a customer here since they opened and make it a point to dine here a couple of times a month. The duck is lovely and the Tuesday night burger deals are unbeatable.

Excellent food but service is slow and on both visits the waitress was very attentive. Food gets a 5 but the service brings down the overall rating.

Svelt settings and tables, great furnishings but dirty hairy crusty hanging lamps , above table ... My food was not nasty, but why they put raw tomatoes with soaked pears,and mustard dressing, I will never guess but it was NOT a very good combo . My husband found something floating in his soda, and on further inspection it was a pimento, probably dropped in by accident, but still... What is up with that? Their presentation is good but there is something odd about that place. Our waitress seemed a bit of a snot at first then warmed up. We didn't send our food back, but we probably won't go back either. I feel sorry for them because it could be a great place. Customers are not an inconvenience, they're paying your wages, if you are a snot you can't expect tips. I've tried alot of odd things, but if you couple a bad dish with a strange atmosphere, be prepared for some people to be totally turned off.

First of all, the atmosphere here is pleasant from the outside, but as you take a closer look it's not that great, from dirty light fixtures to crumbs in the seats. The wait staff seemed annoyed that they actually had to serve, and the food was quite underwhelming which is a shame because there is so much potential for this place.

My husand and I was introduced to the Cobalt Grille by my sister in law who lives in Va Beach. It was our 40th wedding anniversary dinner which was excellent.. the atmosphere, lighting and food was delicious. My husband had beef wellington which he had always wanted to try and he was not disappointed. If you are ever in the area I would recommend visiting the Cobalt Grill you will not be disappointed!
