I came to get the dress I already looked at before. I saw that today only in store and online you get a free gift with your purchase so I went to get it.
As soon as I walked into the store I asked if they still have the gifts (which showed that I really cared about it) .The girl told me "Yes we do,until we run out of them". So I proceeded to browse around and tried the the dress so my husband can see it.We paid for the dress ($150),the sales person put it in bag and said "thanks, have good day". My husband and I asked where's the gift and she told us she doesn't have anymore gifts. Only one person walked in while we were shopping, got something and left .So pretty much they had ONE gift! If I had known I wouldn't even try the dress, just got it right away not to waste time.My husband and I were blown away how rude that was and decided to return the dress and buy one online (where I got free shipping and my gift). It ended up being not even about the gift anymore but us feeling fooled since we specifically asked the moment we walked in!
From time to time I like to shop at local boutiques because of great and personal customer service I get.I got nothing of that and instead of feeing like I treated myself both my husband and Ieft disappointed .

Definitely the place for the upper class and wealthy ladies to shop.

I have never been to the Williamsburg location, but I absolutely love the Va Beach location. The workers there are always so friendly and provide the best customer service! The manager is so sweet and helped me find an awesome dress that was perfect for my event. They do not force you to buy anything else either like some stores do. Definitely my favorite store!

I have been a customer at this location for years. After my experience today, I can say I will no longer set foot in this store. It doesn't take much to be kind to customers whether they are spending $5.00 or $5,000.00. I was made to feel like I was beneath your salespeople, and they offered no assistance whatsoever. I was almost completely ignored when I was checking out. Sad to say all of my future Lilly purchases will be online or from other locations that care about their customers. I have never shed tears over poor customer service, but today that changed.
Janet, you are what makes this business so wonderful. Thanks for your comments. Just a note, when I was in the store, I was the only customer and neither of them were wrapping gifts. No worries, thanks again for the follow up.

I have to say I was looking for that special gift for a dear friend. She loves Ocean Palm and I knew I couldn't go wrong shopping for her there. I normally do not write reviews, but I was so impressed with the staff; I must share. I want the owner/company as well as future shoppers to know the staff a Ocean Palm is Fabulous! I love to shop without the pressure of someone being pushy. Cheryl was so informative and helpful. I will definitely be a regular customer. Thank you
