Barritt's Books is a cozy little used book shop in the Pembroke Meadow's shopping center on Independence Blvd. It's located a couple of doors over from the Cinema Cafe. I stopped in here last Monday while running a couple of errands with Mom. She had used Barritt's finder service to locate a classic book that had been out of print for years which was to be a gift to one of her grand children.
I took a look around while she was at the counter and this place is absolutely loaded with both paper and hard backed books. Prices were reasonable and it seemed that most prices were half of the original book price or less depending on the shape of the book. Most books were in excellent shape by the way.
All in all a nice place, it's cozy, and there are plenty of chairs around the place to sit back and enjoy a book. If reading is your thing you may want to check them out.

The woman working was on a personal phone call the whole time I was in the store. It was disorganized and categories were all mixed up. I contemplated not getting anything but even as I made a purchase, she seemed more irritated to have to hang up the phone than to ring up a sale..

Friendly staff greeted me as I walked in the store and offered to help but selection seemed fairly poor, mostly paperback books.
