This USED to be fabulous in food & service. I've been going since they opened. Alas, as they have gotten popular their service is a hit & miss. Sundays are worse as with backup servers & cooks. Couple times told out of items after order place & you have been waiting; thus causing reorder & additional wait time. Amends seems too many YOUNG inexperience servers not paying attention & have to remind of what they forgot so you dont get to enjoy your meal served all at one time.

We ate at La Plazita's a year ago this month and still talk about their quesadillas! They are the very BEST we have ever eaten, which a lot. They add ingredients beyond the usual which have so much more flavor than any other's. Excellent! We wish that we could have them again today but live 5 hours away. We will definitely eat there again when we are in Tyler.

Delicious food any time of day, but I really love their breakfasts! And I they have a really tasty green sauce that you have to ask for. Staff is always nice. The only thing I've ever not been in love with are the chicken tamales I ordered for Christmas.
