A gray line charter bus was tailgating us coming south down Arizona SR 64 about 5:30 pm today from the Grand Canyon and ultimately passed us while we were going 5-10 mph over the 65mph speed limit. I had to slow down for the bus to be able to merge back in. The bus then tailgated the next driver until there were about 4 vehicles in front of it, then the driver decided to pass all 4 AT THE SAME TIME. The driver ended up having to complete the pass in a no passing turn lane while oncoming traffic had to slow down, and was probably going 85 or 90 by the time it was done. We called the police on the driver, I hope he or she was caught and tossed in jail before they killed someone. We will never EVER use a gray line charter. Get your drivers in line. If you’re able to figure out who was driving by the time and location, fire them immediately.

Our Sr. Tucson group hired Gray Line to take about 40 of us to a baseball game in Phoenix. My husband & I arrived 15 min's late, had our 2 walkers put aboard, but were not offered the step stool to help us with the 1st steep step. On the way, I felt there was little or no A/C and told the group coordinator, who was struggling with the bus movie system, as we were to have seen a movie on the way to the ball park. The system never worked, and on the way home, we all noticed that the A/C was not working in the 109 degree outside temperature. In fact, for 1 12 hours, we had no air at all. I felt that the driver, either used up all of the freon while waiting for us - or - she had none to start with. Either way, she should have called for a replacement during the 4 1/2 hours she waited for us. Also, the shades wouldn't stay down to protect people, on the sunny side of the bus, from the baking sun. I will never travel on a Gray Line bus, again.

Extremely disappointed in our $89 tour to the Mexican border. The brochure advertised "expect to run the Border fence line, interact with ranchers and border officials, ...tour a ranch right in the middle of the action." NONE of these happened. We saw the Human Borders water tank and were subjected to a 2 hour "chamber of commerce type" lecture about the wonders of Nogales & how the media gives them a bad rap. All this while eating a boxed lunch.

There was one other couple on this tour, plus a woman from a Mexico City TV station & her camera man, who spoke no English, so our guide spent much time with them, being interviewed, while we waited for them to finish. Often there was conversation between them which we were not privy to.

Bob, our guide, was knowledgeable. We learned much since we had no information previously but we definitely did not get what we were promised in the brochure and would suggest people simply drive down there themselves and go look at the border crossings - something you don't need a guide for - and it won't take 8 hours in a van with no shocks!
