Food is always great. The BBQ is moist and tender, not dried out like some places. Cheesy-taters alone are worth the trip. Lonnie is a great host. Best BBQ joint in town.

Excellent BBQ. We were traveling and hit Topeka on Friday evening (the only night that they are open). We got ribs and brisket. The portions were huge and the BBQ was perfect. The homemade sauce was great. The sides were just as good, we got the potatoes and cole slaw.

The meat is so tender. We got there 15 minutes early and the line was very long. Worth the wait. Cheesy potatoes very good. Decent size servings. Weird hours though.

Best ribs I've ever had... and ribs are one of my favorite foods. The owner (Lon) delivered them to our table, was eager to talk about how he made them. Cheesy potatoes were also amazing. Waited about 30 minutes in a long line, but still feel it was worth it.
