I go to this place On occasion as it's really close to my house, but probably not anymore. Chow mein is supposedly to be a dish where to noodles are cooked in oil or fried instead of broth. I ordered shrimp chow mein and what came was a oily rancid smelling soupy mixture of vegetal slop with a few shrimp added to the top. I tried to call in to tell the restaurant I think I got someone else's order, because everywhere else I've gone chow mein is a noodle dish. The lady on the phone immediately sighed and tried to tell me that shrimp chow mein is a veggie only dish. I told her that chow mein is a fried noodle dish and she acted like she was confused. Im guessing they ran out of noodles. I ended up hanging up on her because I could tell they were trying to avoid replacing my order. Don't think I'm coming back anymore. Last time I went they also just had a small child running around in the kitchen.

Good food. The lo mein is very good. My favorite is General Tso's chicken. I'm not a big fan of fried rice so I ask for plain rice and they are more than happy to make the substitution.
Portions are huge! Two people could easily share one meal, and frequently I can get three meals out of one. The prices at Ling's are lower than most other Asian restaurants.
There are a few tables, but almost all business is carry out. In the summer, because of the windows on the west side of the store, it's very warm. There is a drive-through so it's not necessary to get out of your car.
I have ordered online and it works great. Ling's allows you to identify individual orders so everyone can have what they want without any confusion. Orders have been ready in 10-15 minutes.
We're fortunate to have a variety of restaurants in the area of 29th and Croco, and Ling's is a great one to have.

The food is always excellent, served up quick and the price can't be beat. Would recommend to anyone.

This restaurant has a little indoor seating area but it is mostly used by people waiting to pick up their orders to go. They have a drive-up that is pretty busy. There is close parking up front.
The counter person is always friendly. For a few months, their food tasted old and overcooked so I quit going. They weren't busy any longer. I took a chance last week and was pleased that the food is back up to high standards and on Wednesday evening before 5 pm, they were very busy.
There is quite a variety of food. They wrap it up very nicely with a box of rice. You get a lot for the money. I order for one and it can easily be enough for two persons.

I love this place!!! It's always fresh and super tasty!!! We've liked everything we've ordered except fried rice, but the lomein is fantastic. My all time favorite is orange chicken and beef and broccoli.
You should give it try!
