So I'm terrified of going to a dentist and had to get a wisdom tooth out today and when I got there the receptionist was super sweet and nice about everything and very funny even told me I could be put to sleep when I didn't know that was an option so I ended up choosing that. The doctor was very nice to me and did a great job extracting my tooth got me in and out in no time. The only thing was the nurse seemed to be in a bad mood and made me a bit nervous about the situation but when the doctor came in he ended the nervousness very quickly.

Back in January 2014 is when I got my wisdom teeth extracted. The receptionist at the front AM lady said we had to pay up front but we had insurance and she ran it through and they took me back anyways form my surgery. The surgery went good there is no problem there! 4 months later I got my first claim stating we owe 0.00 it all has been taken out through insurance. This was in 2014. I was relieved and it also stated that she didn't send the insurance through in time so they sent another claim in 2015 stating the same thing and another in later 2015!! Then all of a sudden after 3 years bill collectors kept sending us a paper saying we owe them 1900 for my teeth! We called and asked why did you wait 3 years to say you need our money!!! We never got proof of this from our insurance nor from walker oral surgery! No call or anything!! And this all points to that am receptionist at the front desk. We called our old insurance and she checked and said we have proof that we owe them nothing!!!!! I thought we had this resolved. They called this morning and mind you its 2017 meaning our old insurance saying we owe them 1900 and we said we never got proof. This place is horrible the receptionist needs to lose job and I'm waiting on proof stating we owe the money but they say they can't!

Typical less than one star professionalism in Hoosier styled care by the ruling uncaring boards and entire medical establishment. Surgery was fine, but attitude, communication, staff, the waiting, rushing for upfront payment was rude, uncalled for, neglectful. Desk woman being African American must feel she can be fast paced, greed oriented, unprofessional, highly neglectful. Terre Haute health care has been flushed then replaced by the modern over-educated idiots, the incompetent, god like ego, to above acting like caring concerned human beings. How many times has my family endured this kind of treatment and attitudes around this area? Darn near constantly and full circle. But as long as the circus clowns up town and elected get the best care possible it doesn't matter to them or our phony corrupt, tyrannical medical boards passing stupid laws for everything while increasing their powers, controls and of course profits. What a disgusting town this has become under Democrat-socialist-fascist censoring and college campus rule.

Dr. Walker did a great job extracting my wisdom teeth. However, if you are trying to call and schedule a follow up appointment you might as well give up before you start. This office claims to be open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm with a lunch break from 1-2. I have called this office many times over the past 36 hours and no one answered the phone. Also, I walked over to the office during normal business hours and their door was locked. You might want to schedule a follow up appointment while you are there for your appointment. The office staff is a joke. Do your job and come to work!
