The staff members at South Monroe Animal Hospital are so caring and kind. They all kept our dog calm and comfortable. Dr. McMillan is very thorough and professional. We wouldn't trust our animals to anyone else. ❤

Our dog Thaddeus was brought in to see the vet on March 29, 2016. Sadly to say he passed away the next day. Dr. K. and her staff were so gracious and kind to my husband and we are so grateful to have such a warm and generous extended family. The condolence card was sweet too!

I wish I could give this review no stars! Dr. Kruger is a sociopath. I'm not sure why she became a vet, but she definitely doesn't care about animals. My relative has an adorable 4yo dog with a great disposition, however, she is no longer able to care for her. She kept him boarded at this animal hospital until she could find a new home. After a few weeks, Dr. Kruger called her and tried to convince her to put her down because it was "inconvenient" for her to continue boarding him since he does not get along well with other dogs. SERIOUSlY?!?!? She actually tried to kill this young and healthy dog that is very affectionate with people!! What kind of vet does that??? If she didn't want to board her she should have recommended another place--what kind of sick person uses death as a solution for that??

Down to Earth staff and doctor. She explains very well all the options and costs. Suggests realistic methods of treatment. Kind to animals! My dogs and cat did well during their checkups. Staff was great in helping me select medications for cost and effectiveness. Will be back for follow up care for sure! This is not a vet who wants an MRI because your pet has the sniffles - she has common sense and knowledge!

Absolutely pleasant experience today. I was greeted by a very personable receptionist today Sarah I believe. You can tell everyone on there staff has a passion for animals and there well being. I highly recommend this animal hospital.
