Great little store located in downtown Syracuse. Really appreciate the focus on supporting all American made products. Staff is extremely friendly. Definitely going back and will recommend to locals and travellers.

Told me they would be open till 6 when I called at 1 pm, turned me away at 5:30 when I arived.

I browsed the entire store one evening before purchasing a small item. It was great to see American-made products in a locally-run establishment, and I was impressed by the quality of the work featured in this store. It's almost unheard of here in Syracuse, given that much of what we have to choose from with regards to retail consists of corporate superstores and mall-chain retail.
On the negative side, the sales associate barely acknowledged me from behind the counter, where she comfortably chatted with a friend the entire time I shopped. Once I brought my item to the counter, she became a bit more friendly, but it would have been nice if she offered her service or even looked away from her conversation for a moment as I entered. Also, I was disappointed to see the works of so few local artists featured in Eureka Crafts. There are plenty of exceptional artists in Central New York who surely can offer pieces as beautiful and marketable as those from other parts of our country. I hope Eureka Crafts will eventually join the movement to help regenerate our own economy here in Central New York by seeking more local artists the opportunity to fill its shelves.
