Food is good, their to cheap with the drinks, not your usual “ HILL “ experience, I won’t be back.

Had a great night, surprisingly good cheese plate. Got the vegetable entree and pork tenderloin and both were delicious!

Farm to table at it's finest. Cheese selection is superb.

In the middle of the hill, this restaurant departs slightly from the traditional Italian vendors to offer a very modern Italian American cuisine in cute kitschy surrounds. The inside is covered in postmodern warhol-esque art and the low lighting makes it perfect for a romantic date. The outside has a well developed seating area, with 5 or 6 tables staffed by 2 perfectly attentive waiters. The food itself changes often due to the nature of it's local sourcing, and while the plates are small, the food is delicious. It's takes ordinary American foods and converts them through traditional italian herbs and oils into fusion food. Whatever you get, don't forget to add the bread sampler to your appetizers list, five may be a modern Italian restaurant, but they house- make traditional breads and oils like no other
Side note: there is no netting or screen on the outside wearing area, so just be award that in summer, you may be subject to mosquitoes.

We got the prix fixe 6 course dinner with wine pairings! If we could rate this 4.5 stars I would. The service was very good and we consistently got each pairing with the food (albeit a couple minutes after the food came each time). I would have loved to hear from our server why they paired each wine with the dish.
The food itself was also very good, just the right size portions to make you full at the end without being stuffed. We loved the pappardelle, salmon tartare and chocolate dessert most! One minor suggestion is to use more acidity in the dishes throughout to make them pop. Thanks for hosting us for our special anniversary.
