This place is a joke. Very unprofessional and poor patient care. They make it seem like your questions are stupid and give you attitude when answering your concerns. It felt like all their patients are just dollar signs to them. Avoid them like the plague.

Empire Eye is the worst eye clinic in this area. The physicians have the worst bedside manner, and the staff is less than par. They have a very high staff turnover, therefore; have many new uneducated staff members. Everything is about profit, and not patient care. The wait times are outrageous, and there is absolutely no regard for patient care or customer service.

Very poor bedside manner on the physician side. The staff is stretched too thin and provide inadequate care. The equipment used is archaic. The wait times are horrendous. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

Had cataract surgery in both eyes this month, i couldnt be more pleased, Dr Sturbaum got my vision back to 20/15. It was easy and affordable. Great staff as well. I would highly recomend

I had cataract surgery on both eyes in September 2016. My eyes had gotten so bad that it was dangerous for me to drive. The world was like looking through a smokescreen all the time. Before the surgery I was informed about the various lens options and the benefits and/or drawbacks of each one. I chose to have my vision corrected so I could both read and have distance vision without glasses as well as have the cataracts gone. The surgery went well and the staff was fantastic. Dr. Sturbaum helped me feel confident and was very personable and easy to talk with. Following the surgery on the first eye I saw immediate results. I looked up at the clock across the room and was actually able to read it. Two weeks later I had the other eye done and within a day or two I was able to see better than I had since I was a teenager. I just had a follow-up appointment seven months after surgery and I have 20/20 vision, and could almost see 20/10! I could never be happier knowing that I will have great vision the rest of my days, and a quality of life I could not have had without it. Thank you Dr. Sturbaum and Empire Eye for a great result!
