I have eaten here a handful of times and our meals have always been topnotch. The service was great and the servers personable.
I just read through a handful of reviews and my takeaway is this: the owner really cares; if something is wrong, speak up; if you want something not on the table, just ask; and if you want a cheaper meal, go to a fast food place (that's my opinion, not the management).
Not all restaurants can make their food from scratch. Doesn't mean it isn't good. And the portion size here usually means I go home with enough for another small meal. Besides, the airfield and restaurant building are a piece of Spokane history. Worth the visit.

The food is always home-cooked tasty. The chicken fried steak, meatloaf and French dip are our favorites.

Old fashioned Americana. Could have been five star but hash browns weren't very good and the silverware was dirty.

Nice little diner. Breakfast and lunches an excellent atmosphere with a view of the airport runway. Staff is friendly and courteous. Food is delicious.

It's airplane Americana. If you enjoy aviation theme, diner style food, and the ability to look out the windows at the planes moving around at Felts then you'll love this place. Can't go wrong for breakfast.
