Well, we've always liked this place, but tonight was a disappointment. The 3 cheese chicken cavatappi was basically just plain pasta with a tasteless watery splash of "sauce" . The chicken tortilla soup was pretty good, but the Caesar salad was also watery. Maybe because it was Veterans Day & the pasta was "free" they just didn't put much work into it. Sad. The best part about this Applebees is the waitstaff & bartenders. They are always friendly & welcoming. Thanks to them, we will be back.

It's ok... basic diner food. Would give 5 stars if they kept the 1 dollar margaritas all year.

We arrived at Applebee's and was greeted by a nice host.
He handed us menus. We waited for the wait person to come take our order. After about seven minutes the host noticed we had not been helped. He went to check, told us our server was helping in the bar. After five more minutes the host got our drinks. She would take our order soon. She took the order said she was tending to bar. We ordered cesar salads. By the time she brought them dinner arrived in a few minutes. My burger was med i asked for it well. She never came back to check on us until we were finished eating. Said sorry took $10 off the meal. Absolute horrible service. We always eat at spokane Valley Applebee's. Thought we would try it on south hill.

This is my go-to restaurant when I just don't want to cook. The quality of the food is usually top notch and if you're not happy, management will attempt to make it right. We usualy get seated quickly. Also, I don't think I've ever had a server who wasnt pleasant and friendly.

Applebee's is one of those places that's just "OK". While they have kept their food prices pretty affordable (how many places can you eat a sit down meal for $10), it always seems like there is something missing. Like the shrimp was nice, but the chicken was cardboard, or the steak was OK, but the mashed potato was bland. Servers seem to turn over pretty quickly, so often are short on experience and make lots of mistakes. But recently visited with two infants in the family group and appreciated being seated in a section in the back with other families with young children. Very considerate and saved the visit.
