This is probably one of the best breakfast/brunch spots in all of Shreveport/Bossier. Amazing mom and pop shop with delicious food. Have to try the full stack if it is your first time there.

- terrible parking
- not many places to sit
- dirty
Food:
- not that impressive
- terrible coffee
Service:
- girl was new, so we had to help her with things, but she was nice
- the woman in charge was rude. Gave a lot of attitude to the employees and to us apon ringing out
- don't like who unprofessional most of the employees looked (messy hair, headphones in, ect.)
Would not go back again.

Used to be great when I was a kid, or perhaps that was the rose colored glasses I was wearing. Waitress was extremely rude, and I had taken a friend who was visiting Shreveport. We were disappointed at the service, however the food was good, once our waitress finally decided to take our order. I guess she was busy taking care of the tables seated after us, simply giving us dirty looks! I may order a pie again, but I'll never dine in again.

Fabulous pie!! That's all we ate as it was recommended by a friend. We had chocolate (my favorite), strawberry (came highly recommended), and butterscotch (good if you like it). The whipped cream is super fresh but also super sweet.

A Shreveport institution, Strawn's pies are superb-- worth every cent and calorie. We favor the butterscotch pies. There's nothing fancy about this diner, but the service is solid and the atmosphere festive in no small part because of the murals, which add an appealing collegiate quirkiness (it's just across the street from Centenary). The biscuits are good but would be better served with real butter rather than margarine. I wish they offered more variety, including vegetarian options, on the lunch/dinner menu. If you don't eat meat, you'll be having breakfast or grilled cheese. I get the egg sandwich which is very good.
