So I have been looking for a new hairstylist and I saw a Groupon deal to get haircut here, so I tried it. That was a mistake. I have short hair and I thought it was a good sign when they put me with someone who practically had a buzz cut. I picked out a picture in one of their books of a woman whose hair was very short on the sides and longer in front. First the stylist just trims the sides and asks if it is a good length (my hair grows very fast and I had not seen a stylist in a little while) - this wasn't close to the picture and I point this out and she sounds disinterested and the cuts the sides all around my head about 1 inch long, no tapering at the bottom and an abrupt transition to long on top. The line between the long and the short hair isn't even straight. There's no way to pull the hair forward like the picture without it looking weird, so for now I am stuck with a severe, crooked side part and all the same length in the back. She made constant excuses, my low hairline, she didn't want my scalp to show (there was no risk of this, plus her scalp was visible!)

Do not waste your time or hard earned money as I did. I got a Demi color and cut. The color turned out okay, although she had to blend colors. Meaning more extra dollars to get the color right. But she didn't communicate that. I was shocked when I went to pay. It was over $200 for a Demi? Seriously? Then to top it off, she gave me the worst haircut of my life. One side of my hair is layered and the other side is not. No joke. Oh yeah, cherry on top....I told her whatever she did I did not want the haircut to make my hair flip up. I leave looking like Jackie-O. I will be going back to my usual place in W. Seattle for a fantastic haircut for $30....to fix this.

Received such great care - phenomenal haircut & style, in a great, relaxing environment, for a great price. I'm so happy (& lucky) I came here! Chea is an awesome, attentive, professional stylist :)
