Sunrice is an absolute hidden gem. Kim (the owner) is highly focused on providing affordable, healthy and delicious home-cooked food, and is also very attentive to her clients. I eat here all the time and it is a regular part of our dietary repertoire. Highly, highly recommended.

Love love love this hole in the wall. I was introduced to this place by my bf who brought his leftovers after his classes. Yeah, how sweet...leftovers. But how can I get angry when the food was so yummy?! We kept going back since then. Thank goodness our classes were all coincidentally scheduled so that we can get there before their odd closing time :)
Since leaving Seattle, I can't find the same spicy chicken in Garden Grove or LA. I guess I'll have to book a flight back for my fixin'!

This is the best-tasting (and healthiest) "inexpensive Asian lunch" place I've been to in Seattle. The menu and hours* are limited, but the ingredients are high-quality -- organic beef, free-range chicken, brown rice, super-fresh lettuce, etc. -- and always well prepared. I love the sweet-potato noodles. A drink is included with most meals, to my knowledge: flat bottled water, various sparkling waters in cans, or hot barley or oat tea from vacuum pump dispensers. The servings are generous, and to top it off, the proprietor/head cook is very friendly and kind. She cares about her customers and the quality of food she serves, and it shows. Try Sunrice once and you will probably end up adding it to your personal short-list of everyday lunch places, too.
*Monday through Thursday, Noon to 2 PM
