The food was really great. But the staff is dismissive and indifferent unless you are some rich looking old fart. Upon entering I asked to sit at a table and the hostess looked at me as if I shouldn't. Initially I was ignored and then asked if I wanted takeout. It wasn't a busy night either. She asked me why I didn't want to sit at a packed bar when I didn't want any alcohol. I wasn't dressed particularly fancy but by no means did I look like some disheveled lunatic Seattle streets are famous for. I live very close by and its unfortunate that the atmosphere here sucks because I really enjoyed the food.
P s. I was polite the entire time. No need to justify peoples maltreatment.

This is one of the best burger places in all Seattle. Simple food with great flavor. Portions are perfect and the service is fantastic. We have been many times and keep coming back. Not pretentious and very good...

Wow great - so much better than I would ever have expected. Natalie our server was five star! The buffet was excellent, everything prepared to perfection. Such a nice surprise.

We drove to Seattle to meet an old friend last night for a nice dinner on Lake Union. At the last minute, our friend, who was staying at the Westin downtown and had an early morning flight today, decided he would rather just eat at the hotel.
We've stayed at the Westin many times, but with so many dining options within a block or two, have never eaten at the restaurant. Much to my surprise, the Relish Burger Bistro is excellent and provides downtown diners with an unsurpassed gourmet burger option.
Our friend from Silicon Valley and I opted for the signature "Relish Burger," a high-grade, organic beef from Niman Ranch on a freshly baked bun served with Seattle's own Bleecher cheese, thick slices of locally-sourced bacon, topped with onion rings in lieu of fresh onions and all the usual trimmings. My companion ordered the Black Bean vegetarian option similarly dressed (sans bacon). Unlike the signature dish, the veggie option did not include fries, but my plate included more than enough to share.
Although it wasn't cheap, Relish Burger Bistro serves a great gourmet burger which I was able to pair with an excellent (and not inconsequentially), equally-priced glass of King Estates Pinot Noir. Although the glass of one of Oregon's best premium red wines doubled the price of my already pricey burger meal, the pairing was worth every penny.
Like any meal, good food shared with friends in a friendly atmosphere and accompanied by thoughtful, professional service made the 90 mile (180 round trip) drive from Bellingham worth the effort even if it didn't include the stunning view of Lake Union (or menu choices) we had originally planned!

This place was better than I expected.
Their burgers were not the usual fare and were cooked to perfection. The appetizers were VERY tasty. Yes, tot-chos sound ridiculous, but when executed well they are junk food heaven. I could definitely see going here to watch a game or just hang out with friends on a weeknight.
Beer selection is decent (we are beer snobs here after all) at around 20 taps and they have some great seasonals.
Service was really good when we were there. Friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. place was
