Labeled as Korean, but I'm not sure this Hawaiian eatery appreciates being labeled as such. Your traditional casual Hawaiian fare with the fragrance of the sea. Shave Ice served here for the kiddos, and suds for the big kids. Park on the street to avoid stress. You'll need the exercise to feel less guilty of how much you've stuffed yourself here. Order and receive a buzzer, find a spot to sit out back with a parasol that you can tilt, spin, etc. to avoid sunburns and Seagull bombs.

This is a great place to go in the non-tourist season; aka, the lines are doable. The food is salty with the right amount of, well, everything. The staff is incredibly busy getting everyone their order, so they don't really pay attention to you. I'd suggest, while waiting in line, cause you will have to wait in line, grabbing a menu from the desk and being ready to order when you get to the counter.
In case you're curious: Four tacos is a good meal portion. Or three sliders should do the trick. If you, love salt, you can probably handle four sliders.
Margaritas taste like a pre-mix, but the craft beer selection is on point.

I love Marination! All of their locations are fantastic, but going to Ma Kai today was really sweet. Sitting on the water looking at the city is amazing and the food is classic with added dishes like Loco Moco and breakfast burritos! It's casual and a really nice end to the day. Thanks!

Bottom line first: Hawaiian-Korean fusion coastal cuisine set on the waterfront in West Seattle overlooking the city. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I was very impressed by this food truck turned destination location in West Seattle. The restaurant is large, and set aside the waterfront overlooking Seattle. There is counter service for food at one bar; and alcohol service at another. There is outdoor and indoor seating available. Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The food is phenomenal. Hawaiian dishes, Korean dishes, and those blended together fill this wonderful menu. We tried the fish tacos, the ginger chicken tacos, and the pork sliders. Everything was great, but we particularly liked the pork sliders. We also tried the "Aloha fries," which were on special that day.
Everything was delicious, and we will definitely be back to try more menu items. And also to enjoy the great view this restaurant has to offer!
