The short version:
Excellent location, staff, and views. Typical conference room digs, but with an impressive foyer and great views. As a local, conferences are likely the only reason I'd find myself here, again.
The verbose version:
Hotel location: 4 steps out of the front entrance and a heel pivot west finds a lovely view of the waterfront. A few steps west puts you in a pedestrian-friendly viewing area, safe for staring into the abyss and/or snapping photos. The "Sky Observatory", aka ferris wheel, is within view, as well.
Staff: Friendly and accommodating all around. The front desk kindly allowed me to check my shopping bags while we dined and conferenced; valet staff promptly retrieved it upon request. Dining staff were attentive without being disruptive.
Aesthetics: The foyer is modern, minimalist, inviting, and clean. Gas fireplaces stretch along walls, as do slabs of slate that serve as unobtrusive bench seating. Long, slender slate tiles wrap accent walls in a beautiful spin on wood paneling.
West of the check-in desk, the foyer opens to the Goldfinch Tavern, where the modern and minimalist design spills into classic 5-star hotel dining digs. Note: There is no "tavern" in Goldfinch Tavern, though the restaurant does have a bar.
Conference center: The second floor conference area reminded me we were in a hotel - the carpet gives it away everytime. But, the views from the large windows and the content of our seminar held my attention such that I didn't even notice the light fixtures, which, like carpet, tend to scream "hotel".

Most likely the nicest hotel in Seattle. Amazing staff who make sure you want for nothing. Great rooms that are beyond comfy and very well appointed.

The four seasons hotel was amazing. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They location was perfect for what we had planned for the weekend.

We attended brunch on a weekend here. It was a meat (mostoy seafood) heavy brunch buffet. The food and service were as expected. The pancakes were the absolute best I've ever had in my life.

Nicely decorated spaces for a wedding. Tasting for the reception was a great experience with Gerald the coordinator. He is thoughtful and has very good taste. The event hall and conference rooms have excellent unique views of the sound and the Ferris wheel
