Let me start out by saying our waiter was great. But it ends there: Starting with the bread, raw in middle and literally hard as my cell phone on the bottom. NOT KIDDING. Got the lobster pasta, all seafood was good but they literally put about two tablespoons of sauce over the entire plate. The $8.50 salad was ridiculously overpriced, also about one tablespoon of vinaigrette. Family ordered the stuffed grouper that had about a tablespoon of stuffing inside. Not what you expected for a high end restaurant. The bill was all together about $400 for 5 individuals, 3 petite women. Two drinks, one tea and one glass wine. I came to Savanah for a nice getaway experience, but got it broke off on the fist dining outing. Do not recommend. I wish I could say better.

There is not enough words in our vocabulary to explain our tasteful experience! The food was beyond fantastic, the General Manager Hanz was incredible hands on from appetizers, drinks, meals, feedback etc! Our waitress explained in detail the specials for the evening and was super attentive throughout our dinner. The staff here made my husband's birthday experience beyond 5 stars! I highly recommend the Denver Lamb, Calamari, Lobster Pasta and Chicken Milanese! Thanks you Garibaldi for your top notch service, we will be back!!

Horrible service. Had a reservation, sat at the table for 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged we were in the restaurant. Ice water had no ice, cocktails took forever to get to the table and the server seemed to wander around aimlessly trying to figure out what to do next. There was a manager walking around with his sleeves rolled up like he was ready to work, but nope. He appeared just as lost as everyone else. I knife fell on the floor next to our table and instead of anyone picking it up, they just stepped on it for 30 minutes. Food service was ridiculously long and 2 of the 4 entrees were not cooked right. We didn't send them back because at that point, no one in the place seemed to do anything right. We spent 4 nights in Savannah and this was the ONLY bad meal we had.
We were there at 930 on a Saturday night and 2 of the 4 people have years of fine dining experience. And all 4 of us eat out at least a few times a week. So it's not our first rodeo.
I don't normally leave reviews unless they are positive, but this place was just that bad.

It was a great experience. Everything in this restaurant was magnificent. Service is on top level. Meals are delicious. Great mood. Passion. Everything what we expected and even more we received in this beautiful place. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone. ThNk you Garibaldi Cafe! You made our vacation in Savannah!
