I liked the front desk staff but "Dr." Robert Erlach is terribly rude! First few times I met him he was super nice. However, when I had to have a procedure done he was absolutely rude and rough. When he was numbing me, I made a flinching movement because it was surprisingly more painful then previous dentist. He said to me in an angry, reprimanding, mean voice, "I can't do this if you are going to be a baby about it. You still want to do this? Huh?? Otherwise I have other patients to see! I'm going to leave and you decide!" 😡 He said some other rude things and left the room. I started to tear up. Surprised by his harsh reaction towards me. Couldn't figure out where that all came from. Obviously if you feel a sharp shocking pain you're going to jump a little bit.
Then the dental hygienist said to me, "sorry he normally isn't like that, he's just having a really bad day. Don't cry, here's a tissue." 😕 then Erlach returned and just looked at dental hygienist and said, "Is she ready?" And just started. I couldn't wait to be done! He was super rough. Looking back now, I should have just told him off and left. But to be honest I was scared!
Later I did contact his office and told them my experience. I also found out after talking to other people that they had had similar experiences with him! People mentioned that he is rude, arrogant, and has no bedside manner! I would agree.
There a better dentist out there I would keep looking!

When I moved to Santa Rosa from Canada, I wasn't sure how I would ever replace my dentist back home. I found Fountaingrove Dentistry through an online search and took a chance based on the excellent reviews they received. I couldn't be happier. Dr Erlach and his team provide the best dental services I ever had. Not only are they able to do a crown in one day, they are also experts when it comes to more delicate procedures like implants, plus their day-to-day cleanings and checks are always done with care and compassion.
The implant Dr. Erlach did for my right front tooth was incredible; the care and precision he brought to the procedure was exceptional. It looks fantastic.

The most professional, fun, comfortable dentist office I've ever been to. Not only did I love it, but my 6 year old niece keeps asking me when we get to go back!! Kacie Joe was amazing with my niece, she talks about her all the time! Dr. Anderson was very gentle when she fixed my cavity. Her bedside manner was great, she made me feel really comfortable. Her assistant, Erin, was very sweet, and, if you can believe it, I actually had fun at the dentist. I recommend fountaingrove denistry to everyone I know. I think they are by far, the best dentist office around.

They are amazingly high-tech because they have a dental cat-scan camera in the office. They are very reasonably priced for a quality dental office which provides for a high level of care. I would highly recommend Dr. Erlach.
