They food was great but the service had a bit of an attitude. There are much more authentic places near the plaza.

Santacafe is perhaps the best upscale restaurant in Santa Fe. Great food and reasonable prices, friendly service as well.

We have been dining at Santacafe for over 25 years including a memorable New Years Eve. Tonight will probably be our last visit. A small table, with debris on our place settings not tidied from a nearby tree, a wobbly table which took 2 requests to fix, slow service which did not involve any check-ins outside of transactions, no bread offered, slow mains, desserts which arrived 10 minutes apart and one without ice cream, our table not cleared of cocktails and we had to request water. This was the opposite of what I expect of a fine dining experience. Very poor.

Loved this place... Best food and Margaritas on our trip to Santa Fe! (also part of the Margarita trail) make sure to get the egg rolls!

Never been before but my wife had in younger years. Loved it! Pork chop for me, house pasta with shrimp for the wife, much better price on Belle Glos Clark & Telephone than Red Sage at Buffalo Thunder, and fantastic chocolate mousse with blood orange sauce!
