Romantic atmosphere with old Hollywood charm. The abalone is always a great choice as it is very fresh. The lamb is cooked perfectly. The mushrooms and snow peas are just right. You really can't go wrong here. Enjoy!

The creme de la creme. You won't find better food or service anywhere guaranteed. The price matches the quality and truly is worth every penny. The general manager made espevially sure our night was truly magical.

It all started when we asked to change a table. The front desk told us we would be able to change in 60 minutes. 15 minutes into the wait or waiter doesn't ask us if we are alright or anything (probably because we decided we wouldn't order until we changed spots to make it easier for the waiting staff). It's as if we don't exists in the restaurant. 45 mins later (and yes. After the 30.) The hostess says that it will be another hour until we move. It's clearly just become a game for them and they are gossiping around the corner as we simply sit. Finally we give up and leave and guess what, there's four free tables around the corner.
Horrific waiting staff. I ordered a pale ale got an IPA and they tried to argue that it was a pale ale as well.
Well never going back.
Looked good. Just don't change your table.

Wow. Amazing. Food is top notch and the food comes out quick. I sat at the bar waiting for my client to finish. I wish I could have had a drink, but I was driving that night.
I started with the warm goat cheese salad. Nice and tangy. Properly dressed.
I ordered the New York Pepper Steak with cognac. Holy cow..... Literally. That piece of meat must have come from and cow that formerly an angel. It melted in my mouth and the flavor was superb. Very peppery, which I love, and I also ordered a half order of the California golden beets. Yum!
I didn't order dessert because I had no room. I will be back.

Jackpot! Yes, everything is pricey, but the experience is so worth it!
We bicycled from uptown Santa Barbara, turning a night out into a mini-adventure. Next time I'll reserve a table in the bar, where I could keep an eye on the bikes. This first time we had a secluded table in the back with a view into the wine room – interesting.
They've got a big menu and even bigger wine list, so I asked for suggestions. It's a steak place, as you know, but I had steak last night, so it was Dover Sole, Meuniere for me. It was excellent. The service was great and so were the dark bread raisin rolls! Dessert? The Lucky Sunday, what else?! Best night out in all of Santa Barbara? Might be...
